TUA 2 VICTORY MONUMENT

Tua 2 is an outside base set up by the French and former authorities to protect Tay Ninh from the attacks of our troops. It is also used as the springboard to launch raids into nearby residential areas to rob properties and commit crimes. However, due to good military and civic mobilization, we built up a core base within the enemy and even established a Party cell among the former government soldiers. Therefore, the attack to capture the Tua 2 base was successful including the capture of many soldiers, attachment of a lot of weapons to equip the army in the Southern provinces for long-term resistance war, wiping and liberating a large area in the north of the province and we learned lessons on "armed uprising" while the revolutionary forces were still too young.
