DESCRIPTION SUMMARY OF
MONUMENT OF 125 HEROIC NAVY BRIGADE
(TAN CANG, HO CHI MINH CITY)
The monument is a statue with the Party and Motherland flags arranged on the soldiers’ heads. That is the noble goal and ideal for which the soldiers of the Vietnamese People’s Navy to vow to fight and sacrifice.
The statue includes 3 people: 1 commander holding binoculars, 1 steersman holding the steering wheel, 1 navigator waving a flag symbolizing and representing the soldiers of the unnumbered battle ships of the legendary Ho Chi Minh road on the sea during the resistance period. Those battle ships had crossed the stormy seas, overcame many natural disasters and all the strict control of the enemy to bring weapons and equipment from the North to the South to aid for the battlefield to fight the enemy
