MONUMENT OF UNCLE HO – UNCLE TON
AT HA NOI CAPITAL
Uncle Ho shook hands to congratulate Uncle Ton on being elected Vice President of the National Assembly II in 1960, a great image of national unity and the North-South solidarity in the struggle for national reunification. The monument was constructed at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi capital. It was a meaningful gift from the Party and people of Ho Chi Minh City presented to the Capital on the occasion of the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi (2010).
